An introduction to Re-Action!
Wow! Hey all, my name is Fern and I am the founder of Re-Action! Network. A network and movement of young people, talking about issues they face and affect them.
I wanted to start a blog that could be a coworking space, with people from all sexual orientations, gender identities and political ideas to all work together as one and produce an accessible, respectful space for learning, understanding and experiencing the ups and downs of being a young person.
I want to warn you, you won’t agree with everything you read. I have made sure to have writers with a plethora of opposing and differing opinions and political ideologies, as I wanted to branch out of the dangerous echo chamber I, and many like myself, find myself in. However, I want to make sure everyone is comfortable with all the content they access on the blog, so I will have a posting schedule/ programme at the beginning of each week, laying out what will be posted that week, in case something could be triggering to someone. This will be posted on our instagram @reactionnetwork, every sunday, and have every post for the next week.
If you have an explore of the website, you will come across a forum, where you can discuss blog content and anything you’d like to talk to other politically minded individuals about. Discussion is so so so important, it is the only way we will be able to make any real change. Please feel free to use these to discuss anything, but please remember, we are here to respect each other and differing opinions, and I am hopeful all conversation here will be respectful!
I hope you find this space fun, interesting and most importantly educational, and that everyone feels comfortable to contribute.
Feel free to use the messenger on the website at any time to contact me, or even better, message me on our instagram account (I should get back to you quicker that way)
Eeee THANK YOU so much for supporting this little adventure of mine, and I hope it is a space everyone feels happy and comfortable using.
Fern
